The event will be held from 12-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, located at 2300 Greene St. in Columbia. The parade begins at Harden and Gervais streets.
The event will spotlight the National Buffalo Soldiers. The festival also will include contemporary history makers, live entertainment, and more.
The Black History Parade and Festival is free and open to the public.
